Company · AIC

Built in a working shop, by the person running the installs.

AIC is a small family of businesses for low-voltage and AV integrators: software to run the company, training to grow the techs, and consulting when the problem is bigger than the shop. All of it comes out of thirty years of doing the work.

The story

The software exists because the paperwork didn't keep up with the jobs.

Art Howard came up through audio engineering and broadcast and RF communication systems, ran his own integration company in Las Vegas, taught the trade, and now runs installations for Morgan Sound. Every piece of AIC started as something the shop needed and couldn't buy.

AIC Terminal began as a dashboard that read JetBuilt projects so nobody had to retype the build sheet into stock, POs, the schedule, timesheets, or the books. GTG Training grew out of years of teaching new technicians how signal actually flows. AIC-PNW is the consulting practice for the questions that don't fit inside an integrator.

The AIC family

Three businesses, one platform.

Each one stands on its own. Together they cover the software, the people, and the hard problems.

Software

AIC Terminal

Connected operations for integrators, built on JetBuilt. The Departures Board, ROM Builder, scheduling, time tracking, inventory and POs, and accounting, all reading the same jobs.

GTG Training

Phone-first courses for low-voltage technicians: AV and Controls Signal Path Flow for new techs, and WA 06 Low-Voltage Test Prep for the Washington exam. Owners see crew progress from Terminal.

Consulting

AIC-PNW

Consulting for integrators: operations and the JetBuilt workflow, design review and troubleshooting, and crew training, all from thirty years in the field.

How we build

Rules the shop taught us.

Type it once

The quote lives in JetBuilt. Everything else reads it. If a number has to be retyped, the software is wrong, not the tech.

P-#

Everything hangs on the job

Stock, hours, POs, labels, invoices: all of it carries the project number, so the books and the field agree.

On/Off

Modules are switches

Turn one on when the shop needs it. Turn it off and the charge stops. Nobody pays for a module they aren't using.
